Group and Corporate Events
Are you ready for a great time? The Philadelphia Curling Club is available to host your group for a unique fun-filled session of curling — a great way to promote team building, provide client entertainment, or for many other reasons. Curling is an engaging sport that appeals to a wide range of people. Strategy, leadership, teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, socialization, exercise, and competition are just a few aspects that make curling amazing. Whether your looking for a corporate team building exercise, client entertainment, social event, or unique group experience filled with great memories and fun!
An overview of group outings
The cost of the ice rental includes all the equipment you need, including stones, brooms, sliders and grippers. Each session begins with registration and includes off-ice introduction followed by on-ice instruction and participation. The maximum number of participants we can handle on the ice at one time is 16. Larger groups can be divided into smaller groups and rotate through the program.
Group outings or facility rentals may be booked for weekday afternoons pending ice availability. Outings can be scheduled during our season which extends from October through March. Events must wrap up by 5:30 p.m. at the latest to provide the necessary time for our club members to participate in their scheduled leagues.

Each outing is a total of three hours long. All partipiants must be 21 years of age and older. A typical three hour event has 15 minutes of prep, warm-up, off ice instruction, and a safety talk. This is followed by 45 minutes of on-ice instruction and one hour of game play. The remaining hour includes use of our warm room for food, drink, meeting, and socializing.
The price for a group outing is $1800 for up to 16 people. For groups of more than 16, there is a $100 fee for each additional person. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required at the time of booking. Bookings are provisional until the deposit is received. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards via PayPal. The remaining balance is payable before play begins on the date of the booking.
